Pedro Leos

With his beloved silent statute and unending love for his beloved family, Pedro "Pete" Aguilar Leos a lifelong resident of Marfa, Texas entered eternal life on Saturday, October 19,2019 in Odessa, Texas with his beloved family by his side. He was 64.

Pete was born on August 28, 1955 in Marfa, Texas to Manuel Leos Sr. and Manuela Aguilar Leos. He married the love of his life, Irma Espinoza Leos and together they had two children.

Praying of the Most Holy Rosary was held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 and Mass Service was held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 with Father John Paul Madanu as Celebrant.

Those serving as pallbearers were:  Oscar Torres, Jr., Gilbert Guzman, Conrad Leos, Eduardo Leos, Agustin Gonzales, Lino Lopez, Michael Lopez and Robert Davis.

Honorary pallbearers were:  Robert Lee Nunez, Random Murry, Corwin Murry, Salvador Roman, Danny Roman, and Juan Baltizar.

Pete worked for 25 years for Presidio County as a carpenter and custodial engineer. He would also supervise  those who were serving their community service. Pete was credited with assisting in the rehabilitation of many in Presidio County. He was a very caring and outspoken man who was truly one of a kind. He was a jack of all trades.

He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He would do anything for them, and they would do anything for him. He would often be seen taking his grandchildren for a walk all over Marfa. He enjoyed his family vacations to Tennessee and to Florida. He loved to listen to country music, watching college football as well as baseball.

Those preceding Pete in death are his father Manuel Leos, Sr., and brothers, Manuel Leos, Jr. and Ernesto Leos.

Those left to honor and cherish the life of Pete are his wife of 42 years, Irma Leos, his son, Wesley Leos and his wife Betty, his daughters, Lesley Leos and Angela Davis, grandchildren, Cadence Llanez, Conrad Leos, Beverley Wright, Raven Murry, Random Murry, Corwin Murry, his mother Manuela Leos, his brother, Eduardo Leos and his sister Marianna Benavidez. Many nieces and nephews as well as his many friends.

The Leos family has entrusted Alpine Memorial Funeral Home with arrangements.
