Pablo Rubio, Jr.

Pablo V. Rubio, Jr., 78, longtime resident of Marfa, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Midland, Texas.

Rosary was recited by Sister Margie at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial followed at 10:30 a.m.. Burial was at the Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Beto Lopez was the celebrant.

Pablo was born in Marfa, Texas on March 14, 1941 to Pablo Rubio, Sr. and Guadalupe Valenzuela Rubio.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years,Taide Rubio of Marfa, three sons, Paul Rubio and Edward Rubio both of Midland, Texas and Rey Rubio of San Angelo, Texas, two sisters, Mary Lou Ramirez and Delfina Plasentillo both of Marfa, two brothers, Cleto Rubio of Marfa and Willie Rubio of El Paso, Texas. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
