Urbano Villanueva

Urbano Magallanez Villanueva, Sr. 94, longtime resident of Marfa, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in El Paso, Texas.

Rosary Service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marfa, at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 and Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Military graveside service will be at the Marfa Catholic Cemetery. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Villanueva was born in Marfa, Texas on October 25, 1921 to Bartolo and Concha Villanueva. He was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his sons; Ector G. Villanueva of El Paso, TX, , Orlando G. Villanueva of Marfa, TX., Urbano Villanueva, Jr., of San Antonio, TX and Victor G. Villanueva of Marfa, TX. He is also survived by his sisters; Adelida Fuentes, Paz Jurado, and Maria Rosa Baeza, all of Marfa and seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
