Rolland Moore

Rolland Moore, 91, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Alpine. He was born in Cambridge, Nebraska. He served as 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed on Guam when WWII ended. He married Willabelle in 1943, and they have five children, David, Jane, Mary, Ann and Paul. They have 14 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren. Rolland was an educator, and he and Willabelle lived many happy years in Cambridge, Nebraska, Tehachapi and Mokelumne Hill, California, and Pahrump, Nevada. They traveled throughout the United States and settled in Alpine. A memorial service will be held at Geeslin Chapel, 209 W. Sul Ross Ave., Alpine, Texas on June 21 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in his memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
