Merced Uranga

Merced Uranga, 74, of Alpine, Texas, passed away at her residence on Monday, November 5, 2018.

She was born in Alpine, Texas on December 13, 1943 to Rex and Felicita Uranga. She was a graduate of Alpine High School. She had worked in the security department for Northrop Grumman for many years.

Rosary service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Burial will be at Holy Angels Cemetery. Fr. Beto Lopez will officiate. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Merced is survived by her sisters; Lorina Uranga of Alpine, Texas and Elena (Jesse) Juarez of Chino, California, her brother; Rex (Carol) Uranga, Jr. of Odessa, Texas. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
