Mark Sanders

Mark Andrew Sanders, of Alpine, Texas, surrounded by his beloved family and friends, closed his eyes to his earthly home, and opened them to a glorious and joyful homecoming with his mother and stepmother on Feb. 11, 2019. Mark was 61.

Mark was born Nov. 1, 1957 to Charles and Renate Sanders in Roswell, New Mexico. Mark was a graduate of Alpine High School, and was the owner of TexPack of Alpine, LLC. Mark had a zest for life, and was loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed. Mark always held a very special place in the hearts of both his mother and stepmother.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother Renate Sanders and his stepmother Dottie Sanders.

Those left to cherish and honor the wonderful life of Mark are his father Charles Sanders of Davis Mountain Resort; his two sisters, Ellen Waters of Alpine and Peggy Sanders-Wahl of Canyon Lake; and one brother, Heinz Sanders; his beloved aunts and uncles, and many nieces and nephews. Mark is further survived by his friend Joyce Wood of Alpine.

No services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grand Companions Humane Society of Fort Davis or the Alpine Human Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Alpine Memorial Funeral Home.
