Lionel Ramos

Lionel W. Ramos, 75, of Alpine, died Monday, May 11, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in El Paso, Texas.

Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 14 at Our Lady of Peace and military gravesides service will follow at the Holy Angels cemetery. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ramos was born in Shafter, Texas on November 4, 1939. He was an Army veteran. He had worked as a mechanic for Sul Ross State University.

He is survived by his wife Concha Ramos of Alpine, his daughter, Sally Garcia and her husband Rafael of Alpine, his grandson, Ryan Perales of Alpine, brother, Raul Ramos of Alpine, three sisters, Celia Vasquez of Del Rio, Elva Rodriguez of Alpine, Florinda Ramos of San Antonio, and many nieces and nephews.
