Kenneth Barnes

Longtime South Brewster resident and self-taught paleontologist, Ken Barnes died on March 15, 2019.
He was also a Brewster County Surveyor and Rio Grande River Guide.

He is survived by a daughter and son in law, LaNetta Barnes and Jared Jellison, a son and daughter in law, Charles and Julie Barnes, and a granddaughter, Shauna Barnes, He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joee May Barnes.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Pavilion in Terlingua, Texas. The Pavilion is behind the Terlingua store. A pot luck reception will follow at 7:00 p.m.
