Freddy S. Valenzuela, 64, of Alpine, passed away in a nursing home in Lubbock, Texas on Saturday, January 11, 2014.

Visitation will be held at the Geeslin Chapel, Tuesday, January 14, from 10 a.ml to 3 p.m. followed with rosary service to be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 7 p.m.. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 15 at Our Lady of Peace. Burial will be at the Holy Angels cemetery. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Freddy was born November 20, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Eduardo and Juanita Valenzuela. He was a self employed auto mechanic.

He is survived by his mother Juanita Valenzuela of Lubbock, daughters Keanna Valenzuela and Arianna Valenzuela both of Alpine, sons Fred Valenzuela of Shallowater, Texas, Darren Valenzuela of Kerrville, sister Estella Geeslin of Lubbock, brothers Joe Valenzuela of El Paso and Gilbert Valenzuela of Turlock, California and four grand daughters Breanna, Savanna, Leanna and Lillianna Valenzuela.
