Felipa E. Madrid, 89, of Presidio, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Midland Memorial Hospital.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. a the Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Mission in Shafter, Texas.

Mrs. Madrid was born in Colorado City, Texas on August 23, 1924 to Refugio and Sebastiana Escontrias.

She is survived by her sister Dominga Escontrias of Midland, Tx, daughters Eduwiges Vicki Munoz of Midland, Tx, and Elda Madrid of Presidio, Tx two sons Mario Villa of Ojinaga, Mexico and Leoel Madrid of Shafter, Tx, 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Refugio Escontrias and Sebastiana Armendariz Escontrias, her husband, Ismael B. Madrid, a son, Manuel Villa and 9 siblings.

Alpine Memorial Funeral Home was entrusted with her services.
