Eva Granado

Eva "Tenchie" Granado was born April 28, 1940 in Fort Davis, Texas. Beloved by many, she was all about family and friends. She never met a stranger. Eva always greeted everyone with a smile and an embrace. She loved playing games whether it was dominos or monopoly. As soon as you walked through her door, coffee and cookies would be served. You never left her house hungry. Everyone loved her biscochos and her beans, fresh tortillas with every meal.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Brigido Lara, her brothers Tommy Lara, Fred Lara, and Ben Lara, son Robert Granado, and grandchildren Anna Granado and Agustin Lujan.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years Chon Granado of Fort Davis, Texas, daughters Maria De La Luz "Lucy" Granado of Fort Davis, Texas, Lorenza Lujan and husband Jorge Lujan Sr. of Odessa, Texas, son Leroy Granado and wife Diana Granado of Alpine, Texas, grandchildren Jennifer Lujan, John Lujan and wife April Lujan, Jorge Lujan Jr., Ashton Granado, Leroy Alex Granado and 6 great grandchildren, brother Brigido Lara of San Angelo, Texas, sisters Sylvestra Molinar of Fort Davis, Texas, Mary Alice Hester of Cullman, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Beto Lopez will officiate.
