Diana Gay Thomas

Diana Gay Martin Thomas, 77 of Alpine, Texas, passed away September 15, 2023. She was born May 4, 1946, in Cuervo, Texas, the daughter of the late William Daniel and Estelle Martin. On July 2, 1964, she married Walter H. Thomas in Midland, Texas.          

 

Diana spent her working career as an employee of Curry Motor Freight. After retirement, she enjoyed playing Solitaire and hearing the stories of her family and friends.

 

She is survived by her son, Charles Wayne (Traci) Thomas, daughter-in-law, Imelda Thomas, her three grandchildren, Makenzie (Colton) Bledsoe, Owen Thomas, and Mary Thomas, and her great grandchildren, Graham Dyer, and Weston Bledsoe. Diana is also survived by her step step grandson, Alec Adame, her longtime caring friend, Kelly Gillespie, and nieces and nephews.

 

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Thomas, son, Gregory Allen Thomas, and brother, Charles Martin.

 

A family memorial service and burial of the ashes will take place in the Old Runnels Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas at a later date.
