David Sauerzopf

David Alan Sauerzopf passed away on Christmas Day 2017 in his home in Keller, Texas. As he passed, he was surrounded by his two daughters, Tracey and Sarah Sauerzopf, his granddaughter Gwen, and his son-in-law Rob.

He was born on Oct. 6, 1952, in San Francisco, California. He graduated from Irvin High School in El Paso, Texas, in 1971, and served in the military for 22 years.

David was a devoted, full-time single father who will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Alpine Memorial Funeral Home in Alpine, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please donate to David's favorite animal shelter, grandcompanions.org.
