Daisy Johnson

Daisy Johnson, 85, died at her home in Marfa, Friday, March 21, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Bloomsbury, New Jersey on June 27, 1928.

After working 33 years for General Motors, she retired and moved to Marfa in 1979. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Marfa and Alpine when they had Chapters here.

She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Johnson of Marfa, a son and daughterinlaw, John C. and Betty Ann Johnson of Marfa, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Final arrangements are under the direction of Alpine Memorial Funeral Home. At her request, there will not be any services.
