Aurora Lujan

Aurora V. Lujan, 84, lifetime resident of Marfa, Texas passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine.

Rosary was recited at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at St. Marys Catholic Church followed with Mass of Christian Burial. Burial was at La Merced cemetery in Marfa. Fr. Rolando Fonseca officiated. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrngements.

Mrs. Lujan was born in Alpine, Texas on November 6, 1928 to Miguel and Martina Vasquez. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Alfredo Lujan of Hondo, Texas, two sisters, Corine Vasquez of El Paso and Anita Serrano of Marfa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
