Amparo R. Cobos, 93, of Alpine, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 in Chandler, Arizona.

Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 at Our Lady of Peace and burial to follow at the Holy Angels cemetery. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Amparo was born in Alpine, Texas on November 9, 1920. She had worked as a LVN for the Brewster County Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by two sisters Terry Rubio of El Paso, Socorro Ramos of Alpine, her brother, Alfonso Ramos of Alpine and grandchildren Denise Castillo and Erika McLain of Alpine and four great grandchildren.
