Alice Brooks

Alice C. Brooks, 85, of Fort Davis, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, January 14, 2014.

Services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fort Davis. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest cemetery. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Plainview, Texas on February 12, 1928. She had worked as a teachers aide for the Fort Davis Independent School District.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Brooks of Fort Davis, daughters Raylene Miller of Fort Davis, Vonda Neally of Carlsbad, Tx, sons Milton Brooks of Mena, AR, Robby Brooks of San Angelo, Billy Goetz of Mereta Tx, Randy Brooks of Papillion, NE, Heath Brooks of Sheffield, Tx. She is also survived by her sisters Georgia Brisbane of San Angelo, Louise Botts of Kingman, AZ, brothers Bob McCallick of San Angelo, Dan Soch of Oklahoma City, OK, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
