James Warren, Jr.

At the age of 60, James passed away on August 1, 2022, at his home in Fort Davis, Texas.  James was known to everyone as Jim.  He was born on August 26, 1961, in Florida.  He grew up in Florida, got his GED and was a member of the United States Army.  After living in several different states and towns, he found his wife and home in Fort Davis.  He was married to Penny Warren for 25 years.  He worked for Fort Davis ISD, Jarratt’s Building Supply, Murphy’s Pizza and retired from Jeff Davis County, where he ran the landfill.  After retirement, he worked at Porter’s grocery store and Cueva de Leon.  He loved history, making beaded leather work and dogs.  He never met a dog that wasn’t a friend.  He will be missed.  No services will be held.
